OUR STRUGGLE

      OUR STRUGGLE
From inception to the arrival
The fusion of the ovum and sperm was a survival
Even when engulfed by a living body called womb
In a place enclosed like tomb
Striving to survive amidst of blood and water
In a place that is no better
Depending on placenta for nourishment
Not to die before the fulfillment.

Like the drizzling and dropping of rain
You dropped on earth in the midst of agony and pain
Mother screaming at the childbirth
Innocent infant crying to death
At the hands of the veteran nurses
Who cares only about their businesses
What an awful welcome!
In a place you never dream to come.

Growth commences
Time busy at his businesses
Tick-tack non-stop
The race begins non-stop.

Growth continues like that in plant
With less knowledge since one is infant
Pains of hunger without being able to talk
Ants biting without being able to walk
And the struggle continues
When none is actually a news.

Days of rainbows and unicorn horses
Days of sunshine and lollipops of tender roses
Days of sweet fantasies and untamed passion
With maximum love and no condemnation
Days of blue-sky dreams and desire
With maximum attention to admire.

The age of infant got left behind
The environmental care got declined
Difficulty starts raging in the sky
And everyone starts to say goodbye
Teenager is now ready to move
And no one is ready to pave.

Coming to see the world
Which can't be explained with word
Youthful age in the bucket
Yet, one is no perfect.

Creativity taking to her heel
And heart starts to fall ill
Then, cruelty of life sets in
And no one is ready to come in.

More battle in the yard to fight
You'll suffer even if you're named bright
You'll want to go back to being an infant
Forgetting growth is irreversible like in animal and plant
And the wish to walk while crawling
Plus the wish to run while walking
All would become an illusion
And you'll see nothing but confusion

What they couldn't achieve in a lifetime
They want it from you in no time
Now, running to who knows where we became nocturnal birds
To get a rest and some sleep on bed.

We became desperate for love and fame
Which no one could match or tame
Earthlings live, earthlings die
Yet, we want to keep rolling like a die
The struggle never cease
Everyone crying and saying please
Yet, no one is ready to dance to another's tune
Everyone hitting beats with different tones.

The day isn't breaking better
Even though the night took longer
Oh! the struggle continues
And we got stucked between olds and news!!!
